Sports Psychology Lab

Sport psychology is a subfield of sport science that analyzes, understands, predicts, and regulates human behavior in athletic contexts. It seeks to enhance athletic performance by examining the relationship between psychological factors and physical performance, and by providing psychological counseling and skills training for athletes.

In addition, this field explores psychological factors that influence participation and adherence to physical activity among recreational sports participants, and develops intervention strategies focused on exercise initiation and long-term maintenance.
