About us

Introduction

  • The Division of Sport Science at Incheon National University is dedicated to cultivating professionals who will play a pivotal role in the sports industry, encompassing various fields of sport science. The Division focuses on developing specialists in three key areas:

    1) Clinical Exercise (exercise testing and program design for rehabilitation and chronic disease management, leading to careers such as clinical exercise physiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and health coaches).
    2) Health Fitness (enhancing performance for systematic health management, preparing graduates for roles as fitness trainers, strength and conditioning specialists, and wellness consultants).
    3) Sports Management (managing personnel, marketing, finance, and customer relations in the sports industry, leading to careers as sports administrators, event coordinators, and sports marketing professionals).
  • To achieve this, the Division of Sport Science operates three specialized career tracks: Physical Education Instructor, Sports Performance Specialist, and Sports Management Professional. A recent analysis of graduate career paths indicates that our alumni have successfully pursued careers in various fields, including physical education teaching, research, training, early childhood and elderly sports instruction, professional sports club management, and the sports equipment industry.
  • Through its specialized programs, the Division of Sport Science is dedicated to developing sports professionals by refining its curriculum based on specialized expertise, implementing smart classrooms, offering diverse extracurricular activities, and organizing sports club competitions. These initiatives aim to equip experts with the skills to design and implement physical activity programs that enhance health and performance, ultimately contributing to the Division’s continued growth.
