Academic Information

Graduation Requirements

Completion of a total of 135 credits over 4 years of enrollment.

For students enrolled from the 2019 academic year onward: 30–55 credits in general education (Korean 2 credits, Academic English 2 credits, Conversation 2 credits, SW 2 credits). Completion of at least one course in three out of the five INU core general education categories

Completion of at least 60 credits in the major, including basic major and mandatory major courses. Additional requirements include English certification, graduation performance and thesis, and acquisition of one Lifestyle Sports Instructor certification.

INU Nano Degree

The INU Nano Degree system combines existing courses with specific objectives to create an educational curriculum designed to enhance students' skills and capabilities.

  • Mini Interdisciplinary Major: Promoting interdisciplinary majors
  • Applicable Courses: All courses offered to undergraduate students
  • Requirements: At least 2 professors from different Divisions + at least 3 courses
  • Students who complete the INU Nano Degree Mini Interdisciplinary Major will receive a mini degree labeled as a "Nano Degree""
    This program starts with a mini interdisciplinary major and gradually expands to interdisciplinary minors and majors
  • Mini Matrix: Promoting the matrix system
  • Applicable Courses: All courses offered within a Division
  • Requirements: At least 3 courses organized within a Division in collaboration with companies
  • Students who complete the INU Nano Degree Mini Matrix will receive a mini degree labeled as a "Nano Degree"
    A minimum of 3 courses must be operated in collaboration with companies, allowing for the design and operation of diverse matrix curricula, which can later expand into employment (or entrepreneurship)-focused matrix programs
